Introduction
This page allows you to create, view, and delete contract templates. The contract templates can be used when creating service contracts whereby the information of the selected contract template will be pre-filled in the service contract. This makes creating of contracts faster and reduces errors.
Roles and rights
To view contract templates, function right 851 – View service contracts is required. Users with the Service desk, Service engineer, Service planner, or Service manager role have this function right.

The information in this document is based on product update 250.
How do I view contract templates?
- On the Service: Contract templates page, define the division at Division under the Criteria section.
- Click Refresh.
- Select the required contract template under the Code column. For more information, see Creating and maintaining contract templates for Service management.
How do I create contract templates?
- On the Service: Contract templates page, define the division at Division under the Criteria section.
- Click Refresh.
- Click New. For more information, see Creating and maintaining contract templates for Service management.
How do I delete contract templates?
- On the Service: Contract templates page, define the division at Division under the Criteria section.
- Select the required check box(es) of the contract template(s) to be deleted.
- Click Delete. A message “Are you sure that you want to delete this record?” will be displayed.
- Click OK.

Type or select a division to view the contract templates created for the division. By default, your division will be displayed.
